Back injury

Back injuries can take many different forms and include prolapsed discs, damage to tendons, ligaments or muscles, and even problems with incontinence. The highest levels of compensation are paid in those cases where there is permanent pain and disability and severe symptoms like impotence or double incontinence. Smaller awards are usually reserved for minor soft tissue injuries where a full recovery is soon made. If you have a pre-existing back condition, you may still be able to make a claim for compensation if your symptoms have been aggravated or worsened as a result of an accident.

Typical Compensation Awards:

  • Severe: up to 115,000
  • Moderate: up to 27,700
  • Minor: up to 8,900
